Bullying is when someone keeps being mean to someone else on purpose. It is when someone is picking on someone else over and over again and the person it's happening to hasn't been able to get it to stop. It is unfair and one-sided.

How are cyber bullying and face-to-face bullying different?

In cyber bullying, the material can spread more quickly and to more people. It's harder to escape online bullying because it can happen wherever you are. Cyber bullying can start out anonymous.

Why is it important to be assertive when you refuse bullying?

So people take you seriously. Being aggressive can make the situation worse and being passive won't get the bullying to stop.

It is not bullying. You might be angry at each other, but it's not repeated. It's not one-sided. You're having a disagreement. It's a problem that needs to be solved, but it's not bullying.
