What is aggressive victim

Victims are left with damaged self-concepts and a tarnished identity, they may internalize fear and blame themselves for the mistreatment. Over time they may feel that they deserve the abuse and that they are a target for good reason. They may develop self hatred and Learned Helplessness about the situation, and feel there is no way out.

They may be depressed, and use bullying as a way to enhance self esteem. They find excitement in their behaviour, and commonly lack compassion or empathy for their victims. They have a heightened risk for school failure and dropout, committing criminal acts later in life, and increased likelihood of drug use.
