Something you should apply loosely on a burn
What is a bandage?
A type of burn that typically appears as a red mark
What is a 1st degree/superficial burn?
A burn is an injury caused by exposure to any of these four things.
What are heat, electricity, radiation, and chemicals?
If a burn covers this much surface area, call 911
What is 3 inches?
Aside from bandaging, it is not recommended to do any further treatment on this type of burn
What is a 3rd degree/full thickness burn?
A burn characterized by its entry and exit wounds
What is an electrical burn?
From this severity of burn and above, infection becomes a risk
What is a 2nd degree/partial thickness burn?
If the burn covers any of these body parts, call 911
What are the face, neck, and genitals
Using gloves, you should brush any remainder of this off of a chemical burn
What is leftover chemical residue/powder?
A burn with a surprising lack of pain sometimes, as the nerve endings were destroyed by it
