The child checkmate system is a safety feature that has the bus driver check under the seats, on top of the seats, and on the seat and the interior of the bus to make sure that there are no sleeping children on the bus. Bus drivers do this at the schools they go to and then at base for a backup check to be sure that the bus is 100% empty.
