Two opportunities that provide tuition assistance
Tuition Waiver Program
Employees are eligible to receive SUNY Adirondack tuition waiver on the first day of the semester following the date of hire. One Full-time waiver per academic year.
In the semester following one year of employment, members of the employee's family are eligible to participate in the waiver. Two Full-time equivalent tuition waivers per academic year.
Tuition Reimbursement:
Employees are eligible to request tuition reimbursement for course completion at other SUNY Institutions.

Flexible Spending Account
The maximum amount you can elect and contribute is $3,300 per year. For this June 1st renewal max is $1,950 for the 6 month period.
You must re-enroll each benefit plan year. Jan 1st will be Active enrollment.
What is the plan max for NYS Deferred Comp and 403b plans
Annual standard limit for 2025 is $23,500. (If age 50 and older max is $31,000). The contribution limits are separate for 403(b) and 457 Plans. An employee can contribute up to the annual Maximum Contribution Limit to each plan separately. Each Plan allows Roth contributions combined with Traditional contributions up to the Total Annual limit.

Sick Leave Bank provides participating employees with a specified amount of sick leave that can be used after their own paid sick leave time or their personal leave time converted from sick leave time is exhausted. For faculty this benefit is mandatory and all others it is voluntary.
