Why is this not a reimbursable meal?
Bananas and strawberries are both in the fruit component. To be reimbursable, snacks must contain food from 2 different meal components.
A parent informs you their child is a picky eater and would like to bring food in from home. Is this acceptable, and can they provide a doctor's note?
No outside food or drink is allowed. If the parent provides a doctor's note, under Head Start regulations we are still unable to accommodate.

None of these are acceptable beverages. Milk must always be offered at breakfast and lunch each day even if you know a child wont drink it. Water can only be offered once milk has been offered first. Almond milk cannot be offered because we are nut free.
