This unit makes determinations to put a retiree back into active membership because they found that the member unlawfully worked after their retirement date

This unit assist with inquiries in regards to furlough credits
The functionality in my|CalPERS that allows users to confirm missing payroll that is non-reportable as well as update appointment information for members, is functionality owned by this team
Upon retirement, this area reviews and approves data conditions for a member within the system to ensure that there are no payroll reporting discrepancies that can impact the member’s retirement calculation
Compensation Review (CRU)
Effective this year, employers will be charged $200 admin fees for late enrollment and missing payroll for this group of people
These TWO areas work together to collect payroll data belonging to members who has been determined as an arrears case and then inputs the payroll data into the system as arrears transactions
This area is in charge of ensuring that all program areas have their SIRs and SCRs ranked so that it could potentially be assigned to a future my|CalPERS release
System Support
Members can have an identified CBU on their enrollment if they qualify for a specific cost share with their employer. This area should be notified to review if the CBU is not listed during the enrollment process
Employer Response Team (ERT)
The Service Credit Purchase team has found that a member is missing their SCP payments in Service History. There appears to be a questionable 34N transaction instead. This area would most likely review and find the missing transactions.
There are multiple surveys that pop-up every 90 days for each employer on various functionalities within my|CalPERS. This area develops and manages the survey and business partner responses
CalPERS members must choose to elect this optional program before they retire
Employers often misreport 1959 Survivor Contributions or have questions about the election. This area can determine how much an employer misreported and can answer any related questions
Members sometimes retire from a CalPERS appointment but continue to work part time for another CalPERS employer, also known as a bonafied separation. These cases are reviewed by this area for legality
A member who has retired due to a disability, is inquiring about whether they can have a permanent part time job with a CalPERS contracted agency. This area would review to accept or deny the Retired Annuitant enrollment
This area is responsible for deciding which business partners and what type of audit the business partner will be audited on
“Dup Payroll Txns,” “Payrate Spike,” “Pay Rate Chg Anomaly” “Earnings/Pay Rate/ Type Discrp” are all errors found in this my|CalPERS functionality
