A Cultural House on campus is a designated space that represents and celebrates the unique heritage of a specific minority or cultural group. Our cultural houses focus on academic help, community building, and providing resources for all students.

What is the Writers Workshop?
"The Writers Workshop provides free support to all writers in the University of Illinois campus community across all forms of academic and professional writing, at any stage of the writing process. We offer writing groups, writing-related presentations, and writing consultations where we provide feedback on essays, research papers, personal statements, cover letters, theses and dissertations, manuscripts for publication, presentations, digital compositions, and anything between and beyond" (Illinois Writers Workshop).
The Michael L. Jeffries, Sr. Center for Access and Academic Success is a part of Student Affairs at the University of Illinois. From outside the classroom learning experiences, to physical and emotional wellness, leadership opportunities, global awareness, safety, fun, career preparation, and especially tutoring.

This university housing program provides students with themed living-learning communities( LLC) based on interests like sustainability, social justice, or leadership.
You can learn about these communities from your RA's, flyers in your dorm, and your housing chats. They host events and trips all the time and everyone is invited:)

How many years did it take for BNAACC to be renovated?
50 YEARS!!!!!!
It originally was actually opened in the Fall of 1969 and was located on the IKE/Champaign side of campus. It was referred to as "The Black House" but then became BNAACC in 2004 after Bruce D Nesbitt.
Located in McKinley Health Center, this program provides free items like condoms, first-aid kits, and flu prevention supplies to students.
