If it's before snack, ask them to wait until snack time and say "we'll be having snack soon."

If it's during snack, FIRST check their name tag to see if they have allergies to make sure they can eat the snack.  Then you can hand it to them. 

If you're  not sure if they can have a snack, ask the adult volunteer.

Tell the adult volunteer so you can use the restroom quickly. 

Be sure to use the restroom BEFORE your service time starts.

A very little baby is crying what should I do?

Always stay seated while holding a baby and make sure their head is supported (adults can stand and walk if they're comfortable with a baby, as a younger helper it's safer for you to stay in a comfortable position)

If there are older babies/toddlers in the classroom, offer to help with them so that the adult volunteer can take care of the littler baby

Ask the adult volunteer for help in getting into a safe holding position for the baby if you need it

Go over to Larry and ask quietly for him to sit next to you.
