Policy ______ relates to: To promote cleanliness, a regular laundry schedule is established as listed below: 1. Inmate uniform and towel exchange will be offered at least twice a week. 2. Mattress cover and sheet exchange will be offered at least once a week. 3. One blanket exchange will be offered at least every two weeks. 4. Socks, T-shirt(s), underwear and washcloths may be laundered twice a week. 5. A mandatory cup and spork exchange will be conducted on a weekly basis, at a one-for-one exchange.

What is CCSO SOP 1.05 ?

It is the policy of the CCSO to provide a facility which is secure in its ability to detain those individuals committed to custody by legal means. 

To ensure the security, continued safety, and well-being of all inmates, security checks shall be conducted according to procedure on a regular basis, day and night.

Between which hours are inmates not allowed off their assigned bunks? Where is this policy located?

15.5 Inmates are not allowed off of their assigned bunks between 2300 and 0600 hours except to use the toilet or contact the pod deputy in case of an emergency. Inmates may only engage in personal activities (sleeping, book reading, letter writing etc.) during this time. Excluding light conversation, activities involving other inmates is prohibited.

2.16 A whistleblower is any employee who reports illegal, unethical or other behavior contrary to Canyon County policy. Canyon County is committed to high standards of ethical, moral and legal business conduct. In line with this commitment, the County requires any employee who is aware of illegal or unethical activity to immediately report such activity to his/her supervisor, EO, the PA, or the HRD without fear of reprisal or discipline

What is Policy 15.5 in the Inmate Handbook?

15.15 No items shall be hung from bunks. If equipped, towels and washcloths must be hung on the bunk hook and once dry, placed in the inmate’s assigned container. Laundry bags may be hung from the bottom post at the foot of the bunk. In Pod 5, the assigned towel may be hung on either end of the bunk as long as it does not obscure the inmate from view. Once dry, it must be placed in the inmate’s assigned container.
