Industry- A larger group of jobs related to one field. example: Medical or health industry includes Nurses, Techs, Doctors, Medical data entry ect.
Career- one type of job within an industry that becomes someone's focus. Nurse - LVN -RN ect.
Do you have to go to a popular university to find a career?
No. - Most long-term careers require knowledge not Brand names of schools like a UC or CalState. However, when entering a highly competitive field, those small differences make an impact on your career. Harvard, Stanford, Yale, and other specialty schools can have an impact on your network and job finding.
