Room Check: What you see displayed out in the open. Any maintenance that needs to be done. 

Room Search: Deep search of their room. We can look through their items, including closets, bed and cabinets.

Separate the residents, de-escalate the situation. Offer alone time if needed. Notify supervisors/TL of the situation. Create a Peer IR. Send email.

Let them in through the gate; take them to Cottage A or B; Contact APD or PD; Wait for further instructions. Do not speak with ICE Agents or provide any information. Do not inform the residents that ICE is present, as this can cause chaos among them. Wait for further instructions from a supervisor.

The right child; right medication; right dosage; right time; right route; right documentation.

What are the things we need to advise the resident as soon as they arrive? 

Remind them that this is a shelter, not part of immigration. They do not pay for anything here. They will be signing documents shortly, but food will be offered first. If they need to shower, they have the right shower. A picture will be taken of them, and this will be part of their documents moving forward. They have the right to sleep before signing any documents.
