Since you are a BYU-Pathway Worldwide online student, you are welcome to pay your tuition in smaller increments until the balance is paid in full. However, you will be subject to a late fee if it’s not paid completely by the end of the first week of school. Once one week has passed, you will be charged a 5% late fee on whatever balance is left in your account at that time. In addition, you will need to have your balance paid completely before you can register for next semester.
There is a payment plan option in your payment portal as well, however, there is a $35 enrollment fee to register for it so you can decide if it will be more beneficial to pay the 5% late fee and pay in smaller increments or the pay the $35 enrollment fee and make a payment plan.

Unfortunately, without permission from a sponsor, we cannot refund any deposit amount. I would suggest contacting your sponsor and working out a solution with them.

"I recently signed up for my winter 2023 classes. I provided my own insurance but I'm still being charged. I really want to pay my tuition but the correct amount. Please fix this."
How do you address this concern?
When students are registered in 9 or more credits, the system automatically places the health plan charge on their account. If you provided your own insurance information when you filled out the insurance questionnaire, your fee will be waived a week or two before the semester begins.
If you are wanting to pay your balance before the charge is waived, you can subtract $340 from your account balance and enter that new amount when making your payment.

If your card is being declined, our first recommendation is to contact your bank. Often times they will flag a payment or prevent it from going through if it is to an organization that they have not heard of or if the amount is more than usual. Your bank may also have a daily transaction limit.
If you have spoken with them and the problem was not resolved, then we recommend using a different debit/credit card, using the “international payment” option which is through Western Union, or using a US bank account. None of these options have fees.

Her tuition is incorrect. Hong Kong PC students pay $20 per credit. She is being charged as on-campus.
