With this gift we are able to "take heart" and be encouraged even when faced with our worst fears.
Courage (Fortitude)
Removes all sin including original sin
Baptism
Mathew, Mark, Luke, John
This sacrament fully Initiates a person into the Catholic Church, seals them with an indelible mark of the Holy Spirit, and requires them to proclaim and defend the Catholic Faith.
Confirmation
The two liturgies of the Mass
Liturgy of the Word and Liturgy of the Eucharist
This gift is a form of respect, but one to the nth degree.
Reverence
The Holy oil used during the sacrament of confirmation
Holy Chrism Oil
The Catholic Church guided by the Holy Spirit
The effects of the sacrament of Penance or Reconciliation
Wipes away (removes) mortal and venial sins.
What the lay faithful are supposed to do during the Holy Mass
Participate
This gift can help us with the larger mysteries of life, the questions of suffering and death, and with knowing, with slightly larger depth and breadth, God.
