Good effect- Clean bathroom
Running to class after specials or on your way to the nurse
Bad effect- You might run into someone causing yourself/them to get hurt
Up out of your seat without permission
Bad effect- Breaking rule number one and being disrespectful/a distraction to the rest of the class
Doesn't show your work on math
Bad effect- You may have to redo something or your teacher might not know if you understand something
Pick up after yourself
Good effect- clean lunchroom/a happy Ms. Susan
Climbing on the urinals/toilets
Bad effect- Unsafe, might break something
Walking in a straight line
Good effect- shows everyone who sees you that you are mature and able to follow the rules
Turning around talking to your friend instead of doing iready
Bad effect- you're missing out on important information that will help you be ready for the quiz at the end of the lesson
On task
Good effect- Might get a reward or praise from your teacher
Touching the food on someone else's tray
Bad effect- spreading your germs, being disrespectful
Bad effect- Teachers hear you and know that you shouldn't be trusted to go to the bathroom because you waste time
Touching the walls or pulling on the hooks
Bad effect- You're collecting other peoples' germs and might break the hooks
Sharpening pencils when you don't need to
Playing in the hallway while waiting
Bad effect- might have to start waiting inside the classroom and shows everyone you can't be trusted to do the right thing
Voices off when the lights are off
Good effect- Praise, a happy Ms. Susan/Ms. Clark
Washing your hands
Good effect- washes away germs and keeps you from getting sick
Making sure there is nothing thrown on the floor underneath your backpack
Good effect- Shows that you care about your things and want our school to look nice
Following directions quickly
Good effect- we're able to stay on task and get our work done (sometimes allowing for free time)
Bad effect- Might end up with silent lunch or sent back to class
Running into the lunchroom
Bad effect- sent to the back of the line, silent lunch
Knocking on the stall before opening the door
Good effect- is respectful and helps you avoid an embarrassing situation
Yelling or making lots of noises when you move from one place to another
Bad effect- silent lunch and shows other teachers/visitors that you struggle to follow the rules
Focused on the teacher/eyes on target
Good effect- you're not missing important information and will know what to do when it comes time for independent work
Good effect- might end up with some free time or be able to do something fun
Helping someone clean up
Good effect- makes you feel good to help someone, clean lunchroom, Happy Ms. Susan
