Wilson's 14 points outlined a much fairer end to WWI, but the Treaty of Versailles outlined harsh actions against Germany. The 14 points said everyone would have to decrease their armies and return invaded lands, but the treaty forced Germany to take all the blame and was the only one forced to demilitarize.
