I have a really bad cold, I need to cax my September 2023 tour.
CONSIDER: Time to recovery, insurance coverage, flexibility to rebook up to TFD for no fee
I'm worried about everything going on in the world right now, don't think it's a good idea to travel.
CONSIDER: Where are they traveling? CCP, Insurance (if they have it); Global support network (OTS, Ops, Travel/FEAST).
The tour is much more expensive than I thought it would be.
CONSIDER: Finding a roommate (if in S room), promo swap (if w/in 90 days of booking), rebook to off-season date for lower price, rebook to the future and sign up for APP.
I have a scheduling conflict.
CONSIDER: Rebook to a future date, deposit transfer, ARP (if they have it and are post-TFD).
CONSIDER: Time to recovery, someone else to take your place while you're on tour, deposit transfer.
All this pre-tour COVID testing, the PLF, the STA, it's just too much extra work to go on tour.
CONSIDER: Sell the ease (simplify entry reqs), remind them that return test no longer required, STA is just reading a doc and checking a box, etc.
I wasn't told that a Private room would be an extra charge. That's way too expensive.
CONSIDER: Price per-day, explain hotel contracts (standard dbl-occ.), Solo Tours, bring a roommate.
My tour was cancelled to due low enrollment (GoCax)
CONSIDER: GoCax offerings (HPL/HPD)
(No insurance) I'm having surgery 3 months before tour, not sure I'll be recovered by then.
CONSIDER: Time to recovery, rebook to future date, purchase insurance
I'm traveling to Eastern Europe, I'm worried about Russia bringing their aggression further west.
CONSIDER: GAT monitoring the situation, global support network, reference past global emergencies GAT has responded to, rebook to different destination this time and go to Eastern Europe in the future.
I found something less expensive through a competitor/on my own.
CONSIDER: build value in GAT product, compare apples-to-apples, (re-)sell GAT's history/expertise and global network of suppliers.
I'm booked on an international tour and I'm not vaccinated.
CONSIDER: Rebook to domestic, rebook to future date (2023 and beyond) for the possibility of easing vax/testing requirements.
I broke my leg last week, my tour leaves in 60 days.
CONSIDER: Time to recover, rebook to future date, Insurance/ARP
I tested positive for COVID at 30dpd; I'm worried I'll continue to test positive.
CONSIDER: general questions about symptoms, check country entry requirements, Proof of Recovery letter, CCP, insurance/ARP (if they have it).
My house needs a major repair, I don't think I can afford to travel right now.
CONSIDER: Rebook to future date, no payment required until TFD, ARP (if they have it) - not insurance (unless related to fire, flood, burglary, natural disaster).
(RISK FREE) I want my money back.
CONSIDER: Why did you choose GAT/this tour in the first place? What changed since you booked? "What can I do to keep your business?"
I will be receiving ongoing treatment for the next 1-2 years, I can no longer travel at all.
CONSIDER: Deposit transfer
I'm at 3dpd and I tested positive for COVID.
CONSIDER: Use CCP to rbk or get CFTV, insurance coverage (if they have it).
I lost my job, I can't afford the tour.
CONSIDER: Rebook to future date to push out FPD, rebook to less expensive tour (off-season?), deposit transfer.
I am seriously dissatisfied with GAT service.
CONSIDER: "I hear you." What do they need to rebuild trust? Briefly touch on unprecedented volume. Can you be their point of contact for any requests?
