No it is not, its only accepted by the state of NY. If you want to carry in NYC you must go through a different training course than what we offer.
In the state of Illinois, do you need to have your FOID card to take our training class?
No, but it is a prerequisite to apply for the concealed carry license just like the training course is a prerequisite.
