MHBG and SABG Administration
AHCCCS will discontinue allocation of SABG funding to the RBHAs for preventive services effective July 1, 2021. AHCCCS will retain that portion of the SABG funding and directly contract for prevention services. The RBHAs will continue to be responsible for the administering the remaining MHBG and SABG funding.
Impact on Other Contracts
Due to the delay in CCE, the Greater Arizona and Maricopa County RBHA contract terms will be extended through September 30, 2022. In addition, the ACC Term of Contract will be revised to include an additional two-year extension through September 30, 2027. This will allow for an ACC-RBHA Contract Term of five years.

Crisis Services
The ACC-RBHA will be responsible for the continuum of crisis services in the awarded GSA. This includes, but is not limited to, the provision of mobile crisis teams and crisis stabilization services. The ACC-RBHAs will jointly select, contract with, and oversee a single, statewide crisis phone vendor effective October 1, 2020. *Note: In areas with a TRBHA, the TRBHAs will continue to maintain their crisis response systems. ACC-RBHAs will be required to have Right of Entry to tribal lands.
