A provider contacts you wanting a test to be performed free of charge. What are the steps you need to take?
Submit discount template to Rob for approval. Upon approval, have provider ordering testing as usual with a note about FOC status, send email to US Customer Support with approved discount template and outline all information. (do NOT submit FOC test req form- that goes to charity testing program)!
What is a research report and if selected, when would it be applied?
The research report is an add-on option for WES and WGS testing that identifies any mutations within research or candidate genes. It is not a separate report, but is a statement that is included within the results section of a medical report. It is only released when selected and if the patient does not have a primary diagnostic finding.
What types of non-coding regions are covered in the boosted exome?
Known pathogenic intronic regions reported in HGMD, ClinVar, and CentoMD.
Is it possible to opt out of tabular index findings? If so, what steps must be taken?
Yes on the provider level (on an all or nothing basis). Provider must have ordered a test with Centogene, then must send an email requesting to opt out of the tabular index for all of their patients on all tests.
