What is a PSA level?
Physical exam finding on auscultation of the lungs in a patient with an obstructive lung disease

What is vaginismus?
The most appropriate imaging modality for a female patient under 30 years of age that presents with a breast mass
What is ultrasound?
Anemia that presents with lab findings of decreased iron, ferritin, percent iron saturation, and increased total iron binding capacity
What is iron deficiency anemia?
Tenderness when hand is placed below the right costal margin and the patient breathes in
What is a positive Murphy's sign?
Point located 1/3 the distance between the anterior superior iliac spine and the umbilicus
What is McBurney's point?
Hernia that lies above the inguinal ligament, close to the pubic tubercle, near the external inguinal ring
What is a direct hernia?
Caused by impaired excretion of acids in the kidney and retention of anions such as phosphate, sulfate, and urate
What is metabolic acidosis (with an elevated anion gap)?
Initially presents with a single oval to round plaque on the trunk followed by a widespread rash 1-2 weeks later
What is pityriasis rosea?
Murmur auscultated between S1 and S2
What is a systolic murmur?
Assessed by performing finger to nose, rapid alternating movements, or heel to shin during a physical exam

Seen on wet mount in a patient with bacterial vaginosis

Triggered by low calcium and elevated phosphate in renal failure

Muscle strength grade when there is barely any detectable muscle contraction
What is grade 1?
