What are ceramic tools?

A mixture of rock materials and decomposed organic matter

What is scoring?
Human-made objects created by forming clay and firing with the aid of heat.

Rolled out, snake like, pieces of clay that are added to each other to create a larger clay form.

Clay objects that have been shaped, but not yet fired.

Objects that have been fired a second time after glaze has been applied.
What is glazeware?
Carving or cutting into the clay surface with a tool

A special “oven”/chamber for firing clay.

The ability of clay to hold together while being shaped (workability).

A freestanding sculpture that is meant to be seen from all sides
