You are supervising a visit for three children and their father. The father starts cussing at you in front of the children and will not stop. The children are 1, 2, and 5 and appear distressed.
If at any time you feel unsafe in a visit, or feel that the children could be harmed/upset by the parent's behavior, please know I will always back you up for ending a visit. Please contact me if this ever happens and do not feel the need to wait until strike 3 to loop me in.
If you feel safe to do so, respectfully let the father know you do not appreciate the way he is speaking to you and that this is strike 1 for violating the supervised visit rules. If he continues give him another strike and let him know that if you have to get to strike 3, you will end the visit. At strike 3, announce that visit is over and assist the children to your vehicle.
