Body parts in front of the plane, or on the front of the body, are called ventral
What is thoracic cavity?
thoracic cavity is located in the chest and contains the esophagus, trachea, bronchi, lungs, heart, and large blood vessels.
What is ventral cavities?
ventral cavities are larger than the dorsal cavities. The ventral cavity is separated into two distinct cavities by the dome-shaped muscle called the diaphragm, which is important for respiration (breathing).
What is transverse plane?
The transverse plane is a horizontal plane that divides the body into a top half and a bottom half.
