Difference between deleting text and replacing text

Meaning 

Deleting Text- It deletes the text from a document.

Replacing text deletes unwanted text and inserts new text. 

Steps for Deleting Text

Step 1 - Select the text to be deleted and press the DELETE key. 

Step 2- Use the backspace key to delete the text to the left of the cursor. 

Step 3- Use the Delete key to delete text to the right of the cursor.

Protect a document as read only

Answer - The steps to protect a document as read only are :- 

          Step 1 - When the  file is open, select the Office button and Save As

Step 4- The Indents and Spacing tab of the Paragraph dialog box provides a drop down under Line spacing. Change the spacing to double spacing.
