How may have geography influenced the Mongols and territories they conquered?
Since there was the Himalayan mountains, the Mongols were not able to cross/climb them, so therefore they did not conquer much of India. Also, it says that early in their history, the Mongols developed skills that were necessary for nomadic living. So they developed ways to live, just like their climate. As you can see, they conquered areas around their climate/where they live, so they adapted quickly to the fighting conditions, which made combat easier. *That's my guess ^_^; *

What are reasons of why the Mongols were able to build such a big empire? How were people treated that were conquered.
1. They built a strong military with over 100,000 warriors. After Genghis Khan's death, they split the empire into four. Then each military from each part went off, to battle to gain more land. Over time the land built up, and there empire became bigger and bigger. 2.Conquered people were treated fairly. They were aloud to practice their own religion.
