Explain how each type of interchange helps keep traffic moving
(Types of interchanges: Cloverleaf, Trumpet, Diamond, and All Directional)
Cloverleaf: enables drivers to proceed in either direction on either highway
Trumpet: used where one highway forms a 'T' intersection with a freeway to allow traffic to safely maneuver
Diamond:used when a road that crosses a busy highway has little traffic. This helps with safety by providing many alternate lanes to avoid conflict
All-Directional:used in complicated intersections with heavy traffic. Traffic is channeled in all directions
