Oberti v. Board of Education of the Borough of Clementon School District (New Jersey)
States that all children in grades 3-8 are tested in reading and math by tests developed by the state. Schools must demonstrate adequate yearly progress toward the goal of 100% proficiency in reading, math and science for all students.
No Child Left Behind (NCLB)
This measures a students current level of performance, creates measurable annual goals and short term objectives, includes special education placements and any other related services or supports a child might need during school and discusses how progress on the written goals will be monitored.
