Korea was divided into North(communist) and South(anticommunist) Korea. North Korea attacked the South wanting to expand their communist rule, US intervened and lauched counter attack. China then also intervened but on North Korea's side. Came to a stalemate, then came to a cease fire. War never actually ended they just agreed to stop fighting.

A federal publication pointing out the severe racial inequality in America. Called on federal government to take responsibility and fix the issues in America. Including abolishing segregation, ensuring equal treatment in housing, employment, education, and the criminal justice system.

Modern Republicanism was coined by Eisenhower and involved the expansion of New Deal programs. This included the Interstate Highway System and National Defense Education Act.
