Warp: Lengthwise
Filling: Crosswise
How can you alter the width?
Increase or decrease the size of the waistline.
Increase or decrease the hip and thigh area.
What are the different folds?
Lengthwise, off-center lengthwise, Double fold, Crosswise fold, Bias fold
How far apart do the pins need to be on curvy or slippery clothing?
Close together. Otherwise, 6 inches apart
What happens if you encounter a notch while cutting?

Pulling the fabric on the bias.

Lengthen or shorten the bottom edge

What is basting?
It's a way of marking both the right and wrong sides of fabric
