Electricity - How it changed American Households

It  changed American households because it allowed chores that usually took a long time to take less time. It also made chores easier and  have to do less work. For example, the washing machine. People now had to  just  put their clothes in a machine and it washed the clothes for them. Another thing electricity did was make light. Instead of sitting in a darkroom with only a candle, people could now  light up an entire room. Vacuum made cleaning the house  easier as it allowed moms to take less time working on cleaning the house.
