This patriarch showed his sinfulness and need for grace by lying that his wife was his sister.

God did this with His covenant even when Abraham sinned and doubted Him.
What is kept it? (He did not break it)
This single quality is absolutely necessary for being right with God.
What is faith?
Abraham's obedience was tested when God commanded him to sacrifice this person.

I lived by sight when I chose the best pastures close to the wicked city of Sodom.
Who is Lot?
This man had weak faith and found himself preoccupied with worldly things.
Who is Lot?
Abraham was commanded to wait this long for God to keep His promise of a seed.

This term means holding back deserved judgment so there is no punishment.
What is mercy?
God did not choose Abraham because he possessed these three earthly or moral traits.

I showed faith at a young age even when I didn't fully understand what was happening.
