Napoleon acquired it from the Spanish once again. He realized he could not afford to control the region and he needed money. The Americans wanted Louisiana to control New Orleans and the Mississippi River. They ask to buy Louisiana. Napoleon proposes to sell all the territory to them. Jefferson jumps at the opportunity.

Tecumseh's brother was left behind with other members of the Shawnee tribe, when William Henry Harrison approached with 1,000 soldiers. Tecumseh's brother decided to preemptively attack. It results in a disastrous massacre of many within the Shawnee tribe.

Jefferson was struggling to keep Americans neutral in the European Wars. He thought he could negatively affect the economies of France and Britain by banning trade with them. The reality revealed that it did not affect their economy at all. However, it did cripple the American economy sending us into a major recession.
