Michael is probably the most electric of the children. He has Michael's mom as bait, but she's not at the Elgen Academy like Michael thinks she is.

The eagle think he is a chicken so he doesn't know he can fly. The wise man told him him was an eagle and then he flew.
It is significant because Taylor doesn't know how powerful she is (chicken) and Hatch teaches the Glows that they are Eagles and should use their powers. They are better than other people.
