Catholics are united as the Body of Christ to worship and encounter God, which is preparing for Heaven. 

God is infinite Goodness, Truth, and Beauty, and we shouldn't cut ourselves off from Him.

In Mass, we receive His saving love (grace), and are enabled to be good.

We maintain basic friendship with God.
