How do bacteria reproduce?
Through binary fission: DNA and plasmids replicate, the cell splits into two daughter cells
How does a virus reproduce?
It attaches to the host cell, injects its DNA into the host cell, the host cell divides through it's normal processes and duplicates the virus's DNA with its own, and then the virus reassembles and bursts the host cell - spreads out to other cells
