Watching or listening to your character's movie/story, getting into makeup and costume, warming up your voice/body, reviewing phrases before a visit,

Predict costume mishaps (wig or clothing issues), help bridge conversation between child and character, make sure the character is not unattended by a child, take lots of photos and ready to respond in an emergency,

Hanging out and engaging with children with fun activities, meeting as many as possible and playing lots of games, graceful and discreet goodbyes
What is leaving the visit protocol?
Making connections to your story through mentions in conversation, Perfecting character vocal inflections and habits, having approachable and energetic energy, using the constructive criticism group to your advantage, and always being "on" until you return to your kingdom
What are ways to be your best character self?
More responsibility during visits (coordinating with event staff and volunteers), gathering character costumes and getting magic maker bags, engaging with kids and hanging out with them, easing the scariness of meeting a character, handing out gifts to kids (sometimes)
