Inflation can cause inequality by the prices rising while middle and lower classes struggle to meet the inflation rate if their wages were to stay the same.

The purpose is to help preserve and bring order to the U.S. economy. It is also charged with maintaining economic growth, control money and supply.

The national debt is the amount of money the government owes (after borrowing/spending) in total over the years. Then the budget deficit is the amount of money they borrowed in one year.

People being replaced for machines (technology evolving).

It prevents employers from extremely underpaying their workers and gives room for wage increase

People began trading and later on, it became a business. That leads to competition because, more and more people would want to get a product that is higher quality (leading to more profit).
