What is a base?
a movement in which the body is arched backwards and downwards from an upright position until the hands touch the floor or arched upwards from a supine position, using the hands and feet for support.

a jump that's almost like a toe-touch jump, except your knees and laces face forward.
what is a spread eagle?
This is a transition stunt where the flyer's hands are on the bases' shoulders and the flyer's shoulders are below their waist, while the feet should be above their head
What is an inversion?
Stunt position in the back of the stunt group responsible for maintaining contact with the flyers ankles and calling the counts for the stunt.
what is a back spot?
a back flip where legs are in a tucked position.
what is a back tuck? (tuck)
both legs should come up as high as possible in a straddle position, with hips rotated back.
what is a toe touch?
A stunt in which the flyer is seated in a straddle position, while each base holds their upper and lower leg.
What is a split-lift?
Similar to the helping role of a back spot, this position will support and stabilize the stunt from the front.
what is a front spot?
a backflip where an athlete rotates their body in a 360 degree twisting rotation.
what is a full?
the cheerleader jumps up and puts one of their legs out straight and perpendicular to the ground.
what is a hurdle?
Variation of a heel stretch. The flyer grabs their foot with the opposite hand and pulls their leg straight up beside their head. They then pull their free arm and upper torso through the hole the leg and arm made, holding it straight.
what is a bow and arrow?
additional athletes whose primary responsibility is to watch the stunt and assist the flyer in the case of a fall or accident.
what are spotters?
two flips in the pike position where the legs are extended straight and the body is folded forward at the waist.
