If an excuse is accepted, the final exam grade will be used in place of the missed exam. If the excuse is not accepted, the student will receive a zero on the missed exam. If the final exam is exempted, the grade on the previous exams will be averaged and used in place of the final exam. If more than one exam is missed, the student will fail the course. Calculators, notes and books cannot be shared during exams. Students cannot use copies of other student’s materials, such as notes or homework problems, on exams. Bring an extra calculator and batteries to each exam. Electronic devices such as mobile phones cannot be used or be present on the desk top during an exam.
