List the proper steps of the diaper changing process.
1. Wash hands and get organized
2. Place child on changing surface while keeping one hand on child at all times.
3. Put on gloves (optional) and remove clothes. If clothes are soiled remove and set aside.
4. Unfasten diaper and clean Childs bottom with disposable wipes, wiping front to back with a clean wipe each time. Place wipes in soiled diaper.
5. Remove soiled diaper, folding soiled diaper and wipes inward and fastening it. Once removed place diaper and table paper in a covered, hands free trash can.
6. Clean both your hands and Childs hands with a clean disposable wipe.
7. Place clean diaper (diapers parent provides) onto child.
8. Dress the child, if clothes was wet or soiled place fresh clean clothes on child.
9. Wash childs hands, if child cannot hold head up a wipe will suffice. Place child back into supervised area and back into an activity.
10. Clean and sanitize diaper changing area.
11. Wash your hands.
