I was so happy to unpack for the week after to live out of a suitcase for eight days in Denmark and Norway! Best of all, our Swedish friend Antonie took a week off from werk to be our personal guide.

Stockholm is a city of much islands; we were able to see a lot of the city from the water. Not far from our hotel in the Södermalm section of the city was a fairy boat to a island with some museums. One day we spended at a museum similar in concept to Colonial Williamsburg. There were homes, shops, cherches and other buildings typical of life in different periods of history and different places in Sweden.
