This symbol makes music go from soft to loud.
What is a crescendo?
This is when singers are singing the same part, and they suddenly divide into sections.(part 1, 2, 3, etc.).
What is a Divisi?
This large muscle is located below the lungs but right above the stomach. It moves up and down to allow air into the lungs.
What is the diaphragm?
When two notes are attached by a dotted line. This line has a special meaning.
What is No Breath Line?
These two symbols lower and raise a pitch. They also help determine the key signature at the beginning of a piece.
What are sharps and flats?
The same melody performed at different start times.

Another word for saying or speaking (aloud) the rhythm or solfege syllables. Not Singing!
