What is Repository?
A type of insurance coverage we sell, designed to protect one financially if one is found LEGALLY RESPONSIBLE for causing injury or property damage TO ANOTHER PERSON.
What is Liability coverage/insurance?
The one where 'fuzzy' customers land.
What is SD_CUSTOMER?
It's the flag that waves 'pick me, pick me', because hers is THE one policy term everyone is likely looking for.
What is LOFP? (latest or future period flag)
The coverage on top of coverage, the one that cannot stand alone but offers additional protection such as higher coverage limit or tailored risk protection.
What is a Rider?
The process of evaluating a risk to insuring someone (a person or business), roughly 80 percent of which is automated and 20 percent manual at FBITN.
What is Underwriting?
The one 'with authority' that says 'just send this policy through, nothing to merge or match'.
What is SA_POLICY?
A tailored policy, designed to safeguard customer's BUSINESS against unforeseen risks, ensuring continuity and security for their hard-earned success.
What is BOP?
The two transactions that i) restore a policy after a lapse/cancelation, or ii) issue a new policy to replace the existing one, usually with changes in terms, coverages, insureds, or effective dates.
What are the Reinstatement and Rewrite?
The term we use for policy/insurance coverage we do NOT underwrite because it could wipe us out with a single claim. We do deal with that data though!
What is Brokerage Policy?
The one where 'rejects' live, until/unless we rescue them.
