What is the Aorta

Explain how the Respiratory System and Circulatory Systems work together.
What is the Respiratory Systems and Circulatory systems both work to bring oxygen to all parts of the body and take away CO2. You breathe in oxygen which then travels into your lungs (respiratory system), and gets picked up from the alveoli by blood. This oxygen rich blood then enters the heart (circulatory system), where it is then circulated throughout your body. As blood takes oxygen to all parts of your body, it picks up waste, or CO2, which it then brings back into the heart (C.S) to the lungs (R.S.) where it is then exhaled out.

What is Alveoli.
500
This is the main artery in the Circulatory System that brings blood to every part of the body except the lungs.
What is the Aorta

Explain how the Respiratory System works using the terms "breath" "nose" "oxygen" "trachea" "bronchiole tubes" "alveoli" "lungs" and "diaphragm"
What is you breath oxygen through your nose. This oxygen travels down your trachea and into the bronchiole tubes, which break into 2 parts that then enter the lungs. The oxygen then travels to the air sacs at the end of the bronchiole tubes called the alveoli. Everytime you breathe in, you diaphragm goes down, allowing your lungs to expand, and oxygen to fill your lungs. When you breathe out, you diaphragm goes up, allowng CO2 to be exhaled from the body.

These things are the building blocks of your body.
What is cells.

Explain how blood travels through your heart using the terms "arteries" "veins" "oxygen rich blood" "oxygen poor blood" "aorta" "oxygen" and "CO2"
What is oxygen rich blood (which comes from the lungs) travels to the heart. Once in the heart, it leaves to enter the body through the Aorta (which is the largest artery in the body). It travels through these arteries away from the heart, giving oxygen and nutrients to cells and taking away CO2. Then it travels through the veins back into the heart. After the blood has circled through the body it is oxygen poor.
