Every incident should be communicated. If a kid bit a kid, if a kid fell and scraped their knee, if a kid tripped and busted their lip, etc.
I would rather you over communicate than under communicate with incidents!

The sandwich method. Start with a positive, then talk about any challenges or concerns you may have about their day, then end it with another positive phrase.

Standing or sitting in one spot on the playground is effective supervison.
False! Active supervision means you are walking around the playground making sure you can see all of the children. This is not a time where we can sit on our phones.
