Fault letters are sent to the insured if they are 51% or more at fault for an accident. Fault letters are not required in AZ.

No - hit and run parked vehicle claims are subject to the recon process and could be denied (coverage is not clear). Vehicles taken to our partner shops will be repaired as per our agreement with them, and we will owe for repairs made.

If coverage is clear, we have 10 days from the day the estimate is received to issue payment. The same goes for claimant if liability is resolved as well and we have no limits issues.
The insured completed MCP and we have an estimate in file. The insured wants to use a DRP for repairs. Can we send the DRP an assignment?
No - CAAP assignments are for methods of inspection only. We should be calling the DRP shop to let them know we have an estimate and provide to them.

Fault letters are only sent to insureds while claimants receive liability denial letters for any portion of liability we are denying.
The insured's vehicle is in a tow yard and fees are being charged. CAAP recommends FCR. Should we override for QuickMove and move to Copart?
No - CAAP's recommendation is based on the information we have provided, and the system concurs the vehicle may be repairable. While we do need to move the vehicle, Copart is not ideal as the vehicle does not appear totalled at this time and moves to/from Copart result in more damage to the vehicle.
