Reading Counts
I want a practice reading counts test.
I write my name and the book title on the clipboard on the blackbook shelf.
I need a new Reading Response Logs.
When I come to class I need to bring....
My computer, library book, and any supplies you want.
All my class supplies go......
Back into my cubby. Hang up my headphones.
I need help and Mrs. DeCorte is with a group.
I ask someone in my group or wait patiently for Mrs. DeCorte to finish.
I finished my practice Reading Counts test.
I grade it in pen
If I get an 80% or higher, I'm ready for test.If I get a 70% or lower, I correct my wrong answers.
I need a new spelling log page. ex: B
I go to the green crate on the back counter.
When I enter the room I.....
Go to my cubby. Get my headphones, binder, supplies, Read180 book and go to my seat.
My desk should be ....

During Indpendent reading I should be....
Sitting quietly in one spot.
Reading my book.
Filling out a reading response page.
Taking a reading counts test.
I finished my Reading Counts test.
I get a post it from the basket on the book shelf and write my score, book, and leave it on desk
My expo marker, highlighter is dead or I need a new pencil.
I trade in my old pencil / marker for a new one with Mrs. DeCorte
If my computer is not charged or is low on battery.
Put my computer at the charging station as soon as I enter the room.
May sit at any seat that has a charging cord.
I should check the floor for....
trash, pencils, markers.....
During computer time I should be....
Getting on Read 180 quickly.
Staying focused and on Read 180
I've passed my test and need a new book.
I put my library book in the green crate.
