What is a Bellringer?
A question or prompt of what we did the day before.
If you borrow a pencil from Mrs. Brown what should you do with it at the end of the day?
Return it to Mrs. Brown.
What should you do if you leave class for any reason?
sign in and out. Take the hall pass.
What is the "While You Were Out" papers for?
When someone is absent, the absent person's partner fills it out for them.
What is the first thing students should do at the beginning of the day?
Answer the prompt on the board.
When should you answer the Bellringer?
Beginning of the class.
How will Mrs. Brown check if students understand what was covered in class?
By a thumbs-up/down.
Whose responsibility is it to get missing work and to set up a time to make-up a test/quiz?
The students.
When are you allowed to have your phones out?
Never! (Unless Mrs. Brown says you can).
What two things can you do with your journal at the beginning of the day?
Write or draw.
What is the bell used for in class?
To quiet the class.
What is the Fridge board for?
Great student work, memes, verses, jokes etc.
Where do you write your homework down?
In the calendar in your black folder. Agenda/planner.
What can you do during study hall?
Homework, study, playing any online games that Mrs. Brown allows and silently reading.
For the beginning of the day procedures, what is the last thing we do?
Pledge or discuss Bible verse's.
Where do notes from home go?
What should you do when you leave the room for a restroom break or to get a drink?
Sign in and out. Take the hall pass.
What do the Green, Yellow and Red lights mean?
Green- Inside voices, Yellow- Whispers, Red- Silent
Fun Fridays are awarded when students...?
Turn in homework, have good grades and behavior has been good.
How is your grade broken down?
Into five categories:
1. Tests- 30%
2. Quizzes- 25%
3. Projects- 25%
4. Homework- 10%
5. Participation- 10%
What is the dress code?
No sweatpants, short shorts or gym shorts.
What are the classroom consequences?
1. Verbal warning.
2. Pulled out of class and loss of privileges.
3. Fill out Behavior Plan Sheet and take home for parents to sign. Definite loss of priviledges.
4. Parent conference along with written apology to the teacher or person offended.
5. Conference with parents, student, teacher and principle. Possible suspension.
When can you make up tests/quizzes?
During study halls or down time.
