The phone will be confiscated and sent to the office for parent pickup. You don't "get a warning."
Where should you be when the bell rings if you do not wish to be counted tardy?
You should be INSIDE the classroom at the time when the bell rings.
If not, you may be counted tardy.
What happens to your hall passes if you are tardy?

No. There is no food allowed in my classroom. Keep it put away at all times.

Doing the bellwork:
1. Copying the question
2. Attempting to answer it.
When are you not allowed to use a hall pass?
And throughout all of 7th hour.
If you are absent for any reason, what should you do about your work?
1. Check Canvas to see if the work is posted there.
2. If it isn't posted there, politely ask Mr. McGrew when you come back about what graded work you may have missed.
Coming back from lunch, a student thought she weren't smelling very fresh. So when she sat down in class, she sprayed herself with her favorite Sweet Pea body spray from Bath and Body Works. Should she do this in the classroom?
No.
Please don't spray ANY fragrances (perfume, cologne, body spray, etc) inside the classroom. Do that in the hallway or restroom.
You don't know what might bother other people.
If you know you need a pencil (or to sharpen one), paper, charger, or any other necessary material, should you address that need during or after the bellwork time?
During the bellwork time.
What should you bring with you any time you leave the classroom on a hall pass?
The hall pass lanyard (or a written hall pass from Mr. McGrew)
How long do you have after an assignment's due date to turn it in before it stays a 0?
One week.

What are the two things all student must be doing before class will be dismissed?
Every student must be seated and silent
You came a few minutes late to class, but you say that you were with another teacher or principal. What should you have with you to avoid being counted tardy?
You should have a pass written by that teacher/administrator or that person should know to send me a message.
It is not my responsibility to call/text them to check.
Can you do extra credit to get your grade up?
No.
Do the regular credit.
A student is not in the classroom when the bell rings, but only because she was trying to finish eating her food in the hallway before coming in. Is this student going to be counted tardy?
Yes.
Unless you are given permission to be late to class, finishing you food is not a valid excuse not to be on time.
